All along God shows favor to the disfavored. The shepherds were an outcast group and were in a worse situation than Mary and Joseph. Yet God chose them to hear the first words of the good news. God chose them as the first visitors to the child.
God often chooses someone that the world would never choose. What has God chosen you to do? Do you feel unqualified? Are you using that to delay action?
Take the first step today in doing what God has chosen you to do.
Lord, the idea that You might choose me to be a part of Your work is overwhelming.
Bless me with the faith and boldness to step out when You call.
