John spoke to people about sharing their wealth with those who are in need. He encouraged tax collectors to only collect what the law required. He told the soldiers to refrain from extortion.
Imagine you were part of this crowd asking the question, "What should I do?" What would John say to you?
Father God, where am I deceiving myself when it comes to Your Word?
Prepare my heart to receive Your answer.
Bless me with the faith to respond with humble obedience.
