Further my brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord! ---Philippians 3:1

Paul begins this chapter with one instruction... REJOICE! It is Monday and maybe this is the way we should begin our week. Maybe instead of  thinking about all the things we didn't get done over the weekend, or the mile long list of things we must accomplish in the next five days... we should take time to rejoice.

Webster's defines rejoice as "to feel or show great delight; to feel or show that you are very happy about something."

Where can you find delight this Monday? Instead of making a new list of things to do, let's make a gratitude list. Let's get this week started off right. Let's give thanks and rejoice.

Lord, Your love for me is enough to fill me with joy.
Help me to remember Your love today and all through the week.
I choose to rejoice in Your name!

Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love,
that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Psalm 90:14 ESV
