We are not much different than the Pharisees at times. If we're honest we like to be noticed... seek to be honored. This is the way of the world. It goes all the way back to Cain and Abel. Jesus said, "the greatest among you will be servants."
What can you do to become a servant today? Go... do it... serve someone today!
Lord, may I truly humble myself today.
Let nothing be beneath me. Show me who You want me to serve.
Bless me with the faith, grace, love and courage to obey.
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit,
but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.
Philippians 2:2 ESV
