It is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another.
Psalm 75:7

Never forget. It is God who judges and His judgment begins now. Every day He pours forth wrath.

God is a righteous judge, a God who displays his wrath every day.
Psalm 7:11 NIV

His people, forgiven by the blood of Christ, experience His sanctifying judgment day to day.

For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God;
and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome
for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
1Peter 4:17 ESV

Through the consequences of sin and the conviction of the Spirit we experience God's judgment. For unbelievers the pain is meant to get their attention, draw them to Him. For Believers it is a reminder to pursue holiness.

Never forget. He is near. No one will get away with anything. All will come under His perfect judgment, one way or another. For those who Believe, Jesus takes the Father's wrath on Himself, in our place. For those who refuse, they receive firsthand experience of His anger... eternally.

In the hand of the Lord is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices; he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs.
Psalm 75:8

He is a righteous judge and no one will be able to dispute His judgments. One day, we will all simply bow our knee before Him. Some being brought down, others exalted.

Lord, may I never take Your authority as Judge lightly.
Open my heart to Your daily judgments meant to shape me.
Open my eyes to see Your judgment on the world.
Bless me with the faith to offer compassion and mercy
to those who are lost so they might be found.
