Although we may not be totally aware of the power of darkness and evil around us, it is a fact that we can depend on the over-powering Spirit of Jesus the Christ.
His deliverance is genuine and readily available.
The desire to live victoriously through Him behooves us to believe and call upon Christ's conquering Spirit.
Can you identify areas in your life where the power of darkness may be influencing you? Do you trust Jesus to overcome whatever darkness there is in your life?
Jesus, open my eyes to the spiritual war being waged around me.
Prepare me for the battle. Teach me to stand in Your mighty power.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand
against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle
against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities,
against the cosmic powers over this present darkness,
against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
