Shout for joy to God all the earth; sing the glory of his name;
give to him glorious praise!
Psalm 66:1-2
God alone is worthy of praise and glory.
He is an awesome God who does no wrong.
The psalmist notes God's grand deliverance of His people, turning a sea into dry land. His song even calls for praise of the God who tested and tried them with affliction, purifying them like silver.
This God deserves our praise and blessing.
Do you see His glorious deeds at work in your life? through deliverance? through affliction?
Bless Him today by praising Him for all the wonders He's worked for you. If you can't think of any, ask Him to reveal them.
He is an awesome God!
Bless our God, O peoples; let the sound of his praise be heard, who has kept our soul among the living and has not let our feet slip.
