Songs of Praise: Psalm 45-46

Read the songs of praise by clicking on this link: Psalm 45-46

All glorious is the princess in her chamber, with robes interwoven with gold.

In many-colored robes she is led to the king,

with her virgin companions following behind her.
With joy and gladness they are led along
as they enter the palace of the king.
Psalm 45: 13-15

Do you know? Have you heard? There is a bride being prepared for Christ our King. She too will be found in a glorious heavenly chamber clothed with robes interwoven with gold. Joy and gladness will fill the palace of our King when the bride is finally ready for the wedding feast.

“Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God
    the Almighty reigns.
 Let us rejoice and exult
    and give him the glory,
for the marriage of the Lamb has come,
    and his Bride has made herself ready;
it was granted her to clothe herself
with fine linen, bright and pure”—

Rev. 19:6-8

Who is this bride, the one being made ready for Jesus? The church, that's who. The church is the bride being made ready. So let me ask you...

What are you doing to be made ready?

Lord Jesus, make me ready...
